Pragnya Mohan
THE ‘SWIM-BIKE-RUN’ ATHLETE
God willing, in the 2024 Olympics, Pragnya Mohan will be India’s
medal-hopeful. When it happens, the CA community will celebrate
the phenomenal success of the former EY Intern as a validation of
its profession. At Paris, the Indian chartered accountant, then 29
years, would sing the national anthem draped in tricolor.
Again, God willing, in faraway India, in my Chennai home, I will
rise to applaud her podium finish.
“Sports taught me failures don’t cry. With every fall, you pick yourself up and try better next time.”
